It’s been a little while since I’ve had a moment! The last week has been FULL getting my sweet honey and everything else ready for the big trip. The team left bright (actually very dark) and early. Arrived safely into Paris Thursday morning. After much prayer by many warriors, customs waved the team through without even a glance at all the photography. HUGE answer to prayer.
That night they participated in the Paris Bible Marathon. A full reading of the Bible in the open square. Chris was blessed to be able to read (in English) and his place began at Psalm 133:1….”Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” What makes this so awesome is this is the same verse that the Lord gave to Chris and he shared it with the church in Prescott the week before they left. Very encouraging!
Just the fact that Chris is there, in Paris, France at this moment, ministering the good news to the lost is truly exciting for us. Almost 3 years ago, Chris fell off a roof and broke his back. After months of laying on his back (literally), diligently seeking the Lord for His will and direction for our lives, we felt Him calling us to France. We had the opportunity to go there in May 2007. We spent 2 weeks travelling the country, (very fun!) seeking God’s direction as to where. In an instant He spoke clearly to each of our hearts, individually, that Paris was the place.
We have been praying since then about going again to be used of the Lord to bring hope, light and truth to the “City of Lights”. And now, Chris is there! God is so good and amazingly faithful. I am excited to see what else He has in store for the future!
