Who I Am…

Well…to start, I am a Christian.  Jesus touched my life in such a way, that I am  forever changed from who I was.  I know that I am not who I will one day be…Jesus is not finished with me yet.  But for now…

I am a wife to a great husband.  Chris and I have been married for over 10 years.  It has gone incredibly fast!

I am a mother.  We have been blessed with 5 amazing children.  Wow! Being a mom has been the most life changing event since becoming a Christian.

I am a homemaker, a teacher, a friend, a sister, a daughter.  I am all these things and many more.  I know that I am who I am by the grace of God.  I have nothing that was not given to me from His gracious hand.

God is using all these roles to make me who He wants me to be.  I am looking forward to what I will one day be, complete in His Presence.

It is my desire that as I share the ins and outs of my life, I will be stirring myself up to remember all that God has done, is doing and has yet to do.  I tend to forget in my busy life.  I hope that as I remind myself, you will also be stirred up to remember that God loves you and has a purpose and plan for your life as well.

Welcome to my journey!

This is a wonderful, inspired idea you have. May the Lord use this to not only encourage your heart, but to encourage many other Moms.

You are doing the most important job in the world…and fulfilling God’s mandate to raise godly off-spring for His glory. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will inspire Christian parents in our nation and around the world to pour out their lives for their children and their children’s children, to raise up a holy nation of people who live for the Lord and praise Him with their lives as well as their mouths.

We continue to praise the Lord for the Keating family!
    Much love,

    Hi –
I recently found your blog and find it very refreshing. I was wondering if you would mind if I shared it with some other moms at our MOPS meeting in our newsletter? I think they’d enjoy it too.

Rebecca, thanks for sharing. I would be blessed to have you share it with whomever may be refreshed by it!

God bless your adventures in Christ, Tara. It is just one more adventure we are praying and talking about. With grace it will be possible, whatever “it” is!

    See you both tonight!
